Cleo

Cleo is a 16.3hh Warmblood/Draft cross mare who does walk, trot, and beginner canter vaulting. She carries the title of our most stubborn horse, but also the one most easily bribed with good neck scratches. Cleo joined us in 2022.

Falke

Falke is a 18hh Dutch Warmblood gelding who carries canter vaulters. He joined us from Belgium in 2025, where he had an already successful vaulting career carrying vaulters in CVIs and even the European Junior Championships.

Remy

Remy is a 17.3hh Percheron/Thoroughbred Gelding. He carries walk and trot vaulters. He loves to cuddle with each and every vaulter that comes his way. Remy joined us in 2021.

I.Higgs Bosson van Het Aerdehof (“Higgs B”)

Higgs B is a 17.3hh Dutch Warmblood gelding who is in training to carry upper-level competitive vaulters. Don’t let his extravagant name fool you — he’s a lovable goofball who’s more interested in attention and treats than he is in working hard and showing off his fancy gaits (and no, we didn’t name him). He joined us from Belgium in 2025.

DSF Stardust (“Dusty”)

Dusty was a 17.1hh Percheron mare. She carried walk and canter vaulters in the competitive program, including in FEI events. Her work ethic and drive to partner with every one of her vaulters was evident at each practice and competition.

Dusty joined us from Mountain Wind Vaulters in 2021 and was the club’s core vaulting horse until she had to be put down due to severe colic in 2024.

Paint Me Pretty (“Lena”)

Lena was a 16.2hh North American Spotted Draft mare and a veteran vaulting horse — she vaulted for over 19 years! Her favorite part of vaulting was getting pets and love from her vaulters, and she had the sweetest personality of any horse you’ll meet.

Lena retired from vaulting with Apex in 2022 and worked at Little Bit as a therapeutic riding horse until she left us in 2024.
